The doctrine of Salvation lesson 5
The Presence of sin part 1
In this lesson the lecturer share an in depth look at the root of sin and is presence. I particularly found it interesting on the identification of how Adam was disobedient towards God directly where as Eve it would seem was not directly instructed by God not to eet from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. It seem to be possible that she was perhaps instructed by her husband (my own thoughts). Personally I have never thought about the fact that as is highlighted in the bible about sin entering through one man to possible mean Adam only Romans 5:12 and not Eve in the same way. This is quite interesting for me and definitely something worth understanding in depth.
Overall following the lecture in this lesson as he share his understanding of where sin entered and how sin had continued to grow through the beginning until before the law was given, aswell as his explanation on that before the law there was still moral accountability was very helpful.

Great summary, Brother Andries!
The storyline of the Bible traces the origin of sin from one man, the First Adam, to the defeat of sin in one man, the Last Adam (Jesus). Adam puts us all into trouble, but Jesus delivers us all from it by means of His blood.
