INTRODUCTION TO THE HEBREW BIBLE
MODULE 1: The Shape of the Hebrew Bible
SESSION 3: The Ancient Shape of the Scriptures
I have learnt the Most interesting thing that Jesus and the Apostles used the Hebrew Bible approach in communicating to people based on the TaNaK arrangement ((Torah, Nevi’im(Prophets), Ketuvim(Other books which also includes Psalms)). This can be sighted in Luke 24:44 (NASB) where he quotes that “the things that are written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms.” This is typically the order of the TaNak.
The other interesting thing that l learned it is the realization that the writing of the Hebrew Bible was after the exile and even the Gospel began to be written during the same period of time in half a millenia between 500 BC to 70 AD.
