MODULE 1: The Meaning of Heaven and Earth

SESSION 3: Heaven and Earth Come Together in Jesus

Let me acknowledge that l knew the texts about the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth but during this session l saw it as the reality through drawings from Dr.Tim.

What l learnt is that the New Testament view of the universe is real similar to that of the Hebrew Bible and Jesus message was about joining Heaven, , the sphere of God’s reign, the Earth, the sphere of humanity; within himself. This can be seen in Matthew 4:17(NASB) where Jesus is telling his disciples that the Kingdom of God is at hand meaning that the Kingdom of God is already here which means there is the unification of the Heaven and the Earth through me. There are other scriptures explaining that but in nutshell the book Matthew portrays the whole picture even by the words during Jesus’s ascension.
