Chapter 12: POWER PRINCIPLE SIX: POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
In the Bible time, great significance was attached to a person’s name. Jesus means savior. Other names given to Jesus are Jesus Christ, Christ Jesus, Lord Jesus and Lord. Christ means anointed one. It’s the name of Jesus, sometimes combined with His other names, that is used in the demonstration of God’s power through believers in the book of Acts. There are 3 ways great men obtain their names, bt birth, by achievement and by conferring. The name of Jesus is the most powerful name in the universe. Our power is in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is used for salvation, sanctification, in prayer, ministry, casting out devils, healing and in everything.
