• Introduction to the Hebrew bible - Sessions 4–6

These sessions teach us that the Hebrew Bible being discussed shows a story connected together. The Torah, Prophets, and Writing teach us about the plan of god for humanity and they work together in doing so.

The Bible was written by men who were inspired to write what God gave them and they all wrote using their human ways of writing and their experiences of life. The Scripture being God-breathed simply means that God inspired the authors of the Bible and that these people were not just writing things from their mind, thought, or plans despite that they still used their human words, ways or writing, and also their cultures

I further learnt that Jesus together his followers also saw the Hebrew Bible as a connected story which focused on salvation and the suffering and being made complete again.

Other important learnt things are on how we read the Bible in the order. The Bible must be understood as a book or story of connected elements. The bible is actually important even today as it teaches us knowing God
