These two sessions has revealed and taught me of the unshared attributes of God. The first thing that moved me is actually the truth about the transcendence and immanence of God where I learnt that God is incredibly high and ever lifted up but still he is here with us.

I have some moments before, mostly during my tough times and experiences with family and financial struggles, when it felt like God was far and not present or around to deal with the issues but with this lesson it makes it more clear that god is always here with me and whenever I talk to him I do so knowing that he is around.

My second takeaway is on immutability which taught me on how our God doesn’t change but still responds to me. The Hebrew word ‘naham’ which is to regret or to relent helped me understand some passages that used to give me confusion. God is not moody as I am, he is unpredictable and consistent and whenever I repent he always answers and responds with mercy. For me, this has give me peace and assurance in my journey of faith knowing that God cannot change his mind towards me as long as I always return to him.
