INTRODUCTION – THE LORD AS COUNSELOR

Isaiah 9:6 highlights God as Counselor indicating that divine wisdom and guidance are integral to God’s nature and His relationship with humanity. Portraying Him as the ultimate source of wisdom, guidance, and understanding, providing direction and counsel to His people, to walk in His ways and fulfill His purposes. Psalm 73:24 emphasizes the enduring nature of God’s guidance throughout life and into eternity.

God as Counselor is further revealed through the person and work of the Holy Spirit. The recognition of God as our Counselor calls for a posture of humility and dependence, acknowledging that human wisdom is limited and often flawed.
