INTRODUCTION – THE LORD AS COUNSELOR PART 2

Jesus Christ, as Wonderful Counselor means He is the Wonderful Counselor in the family of God, the kingdom of God and His church. Confirmed in Colossians 2:3 which says “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Counseling has to do with getting the knowledge needed and the wisdom to use the knowledge by accessing the treasury of wisdom and knowledge through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Counseling God’s way does not involve philosophy because biblically man is forbidden from it. Thus we should look to the Lord for counseling and point God to those who need counseling for it is essential and it is foundational to what counseling is.
