IN ADAM OR IN CHRIST

The foundational truths for counseling ‘In Adam or in Christ” centers on the fact of the problem of the flesh (in Adam), meaning we are born naturally connected or inherit a fallen sin nature that alienates us from God. That is, Through one man, Adam, sin entered the world. Because of sin, death came. Physical death, and separation from God. “The soul that sins shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). Man needed a change in his life source, a way to get a new nature.

In Christ comes the fulfillment of man’s need, The Power for Transformation. Through faith in Christ Jesus, the believer’s position is entirely shifted. We are legally accepted, justified, and united with Christ. This means real disciples live in the Word of God. And living in the Word of God they get to know the truth of the Word of God. And the truth of the Word of God is liberating power because everything God has for human lives is found in Jesus Christ, all the fullness. We are complete in Christ Jesus.
