VITAL ISSUES
Counselor should understand, they don’t need to know everything to minister to one another because counseling can be life-giving, life-directing vital issues from God with God’s resources. Counselors shouldn’t think it strange when the fires get hot because according to 1 Peter 4:12, it is not strange when the fiery ordeal comes upon you. Testings, trials, and fiery ordeals come to demonstrate the genuineness of our faith. It is the testing of our faith that produces patience. That is, faith produces, develops, patience or endurance, and spiritual stamina by God working out the process that is involved in them, so that we can be perfected, made mature and whole in Christ, lacking nothing. Awareness of our weaknesses enables us to be more inclined to rely on God strength that gives us hope, encouragement and assurance to also minister encouragement to people for He makes a way of escape always.
