Chapter Eleven: Book Study

In this chapter we learn of book study method,which is synthetic way of studying, Synthetic means study whole book once for general understanding.

Unlike Analytical study which breaks it into parts. The purpose is to understand context before interpreting verses .

There are 3 steps of book study,

Step 1 is Initial survey where we read the whole book to find theme, author,purpose, and key principle.

Step 2, Book study chart where we read again to make chapter titles, list the key verse, key words and characters.

Step 3, Book outline , we outline key points of the book ,some might be from chapter titles and key verses.
