Chapter One: Introducing the bible

I have learnt about the origins and purpose of the bible: which is profitable for doctrine,reproof ,correction and instruction for righteousness 2Tim 3:16-17. And that is written around about 40 different men who were inspired by God, some wrote direct words from God like Jeremiah,some wrote by revealed truth about future.

There are two major testaments which are two covenants the old and the new,which both focus on restoring man to right relationship with God,in both covenants forgiveness of sins is through the blood that signified the blood of Christ.

I have learned about the divisions of the bible the old testament divided into four and the new as well, as many are the bible authors but the theme is one and is Christ and that proves it’s author is one: that is God.
