Lesson 7: Know your Calling

Its wring for someone to be busy doing something that he’s bot called to do.peooke are called into specific posts of responsibility: apostles, prophet, Evangelist, pastors/teachers etc fir the perfecting of the saints. 1 Co 12:29-30, Ep 4:11-12

It therefore becomes primordial for us to know where our duty post .After identifying your duty post or your calling, you have to enhance it by studying to know what God says about it and learn from people that have been in the field. When you identify your calling and start working in it, it becomes a blessing.

A man of Gid van have multiple gifts in addition to the main calling. A pastor xan stoll prophesy, evangelize etc 1 Co 12:4-6

God doesn’t call people in the same way. To some he performed miracles like apostle paul, to some, its a silent intuition.To sone they had divine visitation like mary. Nehemiah’s call was introduced to him through a heavy burden that came after he heard about the deplorable state of Jerusalem. So don’t expect God to talk to you in a vision because he dud to another. Be attentive when seeking to understand your purpose.Neh 1:2-3, Matt 9:36, Neh 1:3-11.

A calling will require an abandonment of your comfort zone to engage in your divine assignment just as Nehemiah let his high place of the kings cup bearer to return to Jerusalem.

When you have the call of God in your life, you dint care where your assignment area is. You are ready to go without resistance. 1 Co 9:16.
