Lesson 13: Christ Part 1

The world is seeking something, a power to rely on, they know its out there or somewhere. Their major problem is getting to it and that’s why we have all kinds of traditions and belief today.

But for christians, we know our God, who is like Jesus whom he sent to earth for our redemption even though many traditions have messed up Jesus’ story giving pictures of him that aren’t accurate. Even the apostles that followed him around spent time arguing about who was the greatest amongst them meanwhile the great who was their mas was there with them.Mark 9:33-34

A servant exists for others well-being and that’s who Jesus really was.so you could say a servant is a slave. You cant keep your life and get it. If you want it, lose it. Matt 16:25

We are the body of Christ and should exist for the body just like body parts exists for the good of the general body.

Jesus compared himself to the gentiles and advised the disciples not to emulate them who seek to lord over others. matt 20:25-26. Jesus also clarified that religion and the kingdom of God aren’t synonyms.Matt 23: 2-3

So the only valid form of leadership in the kingdom of Gid is leadership by example Matt 4:19.

To be effective we must be humble, we must do an assessment of ourselves, accept our faults and seek forgiveness and restoration.
