Lesson 28: Our Identification with Christian ministry, you will have enemies, some who disguise ad friends and sometimes our friends start out as enemies. At the beginning they might not be there for you or fir God or your ministry but surely through a process,the Holy spirit will win them over and those that once were your enemies might become your friends.

In John 15:12-25, Jesus demonstrated a loving relationship with his disciples before his crucifixion, actually his closest friends were his disciples, he instructs them, washed their feet etc. unfortunately when compared with minister today, few hace close friends inside or outside the church. But Jesus is the closes friend any of us can desire in ministry because he lives us, chose us, equiped us, and rewards us for what he equiped us to do.

The best part of ministry is working fir Christ as a friend , working with him and fir him fie we are servants , infact collaborate. He gives instructions and we obey and apply. John 15:17,20. When we work with Jesus as a friend, no matter the season, we find joy, serving the master.

Friendship with Jesus was initiated by him in John 15:26, where he says he chose you. You accepted by becoming born again and the bond became mutual.So where every you are in ministry, he assigned you for hr has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.

Hod sees our flaw’s, our imperfections, but still loves us dearly, he takes you the way you’re ,reshapes you, and restores you as compared to the world who see it and rejects you.

As Jesus ‘s friends, he reveals himself to us, and through us.John 15:15, John 14:26. Today the Holy spirit is available to teach us the word.

Our relationship with Jesus, changes the motive of your ministry which us to glorify God that’s why as hid friends we strive to please him. Jesus said, let your light so shine before men so they will sed it and glorify the father.Matt 5:16.letd not drift away in celebrity talks abd shows but really let the glory of God abide.

Serving God also changes the meaning and method of our ministry, giving Gid the best. Our mission is fruitfulness, so we put in our best.To avoid pastoral arterial sclerosis, hardening of arteries, you need a friendship with the Lord Jesus Christ.matt 11:30 If we are Jesus friends, we are to love the sherp he has assigned us to.

Loving Jesus changes the manner of your ministry. Since Jesus chose you, relax in ministry.Dint copy anyone one else, be who God made you to be. You are unique with your spiritual gifts. The key issue should be to know who you are.let you be remembered for Gods glory.

Also working with Christ determined the make up of your ministry.great persecution is the result of great commission. Like forces attract each other.
