Creative bible study methods chapter 7&8
Amen and greetings
I must say, it was interesting to learn of the lives of the children of israel during those ancient times amd also to have an idea of how may years passed by as each book was written. When reading the bible, sometimes one may think event s happened day after day or within a week only to find tha it was over a span of time. It’s a point of interest to me why over 400 years between the closing and of the old testament and the opening of the new testament,no books were written.
Outlining stood out for me in chapter 8 especially looking at it from the point of ministry where one is required to prepare a message that God will give at that time. The breakdown of the message proved clear points and sub points which i believe are essential to maintaining flow of the message. Marking from a bible study point makes a lot of sense to me. One is able to read through similarly marked scriptures and receive deeper revelation and i think it also ties in with the rule of cumulative revelation and the rule of repetition that were mentioned in the previous chapter as a guide to not steer in the wrong direction as far as doctrine is concerned. I will admit, i haven’t quite grasped charting, but i trust that the Holy Spirit will lead me in the right direction.
I look forward to learning more
Amen

God is God, and that is his work. Anyone attributing the Bible to man has serious issues.
