• The Six Stages of Revelation

      Chapter 12

This topic has a spiritual direction for how God communicates His divine plans to a “confused and misdirected world,” by using the biblical account of the Annunciation to Mary (Luke 1) as an example .The process begins with Vexation, where personal distress serves to capture God’s attention, as contentment often leads to spiritual complacency. Once you are troubled you allow God to gain your attention. This creates an opening for Revelation, where God unveils His specific plan.

In most cases humans naturally react with Hesitation, offering excuses or questions, This leads to the next stage Resignation where you allow the will of God to be done.. This stage requires the difficult surrender of personal will and desires to accept God’s new direction. Once you accept, God provides Verification the next stage or physical confirmation of the plan, as seen in Mary’s pregnancy. The final stage is Exaltation, where total submission to God’s will results in profound spiritual joy and happiness. We as believers are encouraged to listen to God’s voice, which offers guidance through life and into eternity. This is well shown in the stories of Mosses and Gedion among others in the bible.
