• The invisible War

      chapter 1

The topic teaches on the spiritual reality of two opposing kingdoms: the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of God, also described as the kingdom of light. There is always a spiritual warfare in the life of men and women brought about by the kingdom of darkness led by satan and his evil spirits.Humanity is always caught in this conflict, with sin placing people under the influence of the kingdom of darkness.Sin brings death. From the Parable of the Good Seed, we have the children of the Kingdom(good seeds )and the children of the wicked one(the tares)emphasizing that spiritual identity is shaped by one’s relationship with God. Romans 3:27 is used to stress that all people have sinned and therefore fall short of God’s glory, making them unfit to enter God’s kingdom by their own efforts. As in John 3 salvation requires a “new birth,” which brings freedom from darkness and allows God’s power to rule in a believer’s life.Through the death and resurrection of Christ we are able to overcome sin by living according not the will of God and the devil has no power bro overcome believers in Christ Jesus for God fights our battles.
