• CHAPTER TWO: THE BOOKS OF THE BIBLE

Out of the many things I learnt in this chapter what impacted me most are the successful Bible reading plans which include daily reading, selective reading, prayerful reading and systematic reading. My major comment is on systematic reading which is the reading of the entire Bible in one year following a designed plan to avoid reading certain books heavily while ignoring others entirely. Set time in a day to read the Bible and in case you miss a day keep going and try to catch up.

      • Surely, setting the time in a day to read the Bible and in case you miss a day keep going and try to catch up is very important. That means developing a pattern on that makes perfection.

There is always the temptation to read a portion of the Bible repeatedly and completely ignore the others. Systematic reading is a truly beneficial approach to Bible study.
