Sure, opening of our understanding to the Biblical verses is what leads us to the wisdom that salvation is available for the grab by believing in the sufferings, crucifixion, or death and resurrection of Jesus. This is what Paul told his protege Timothy in 2 Tim 3:14-15 that the knowledge of scriptures is to make one wise (Revelation) unto salvation, through trust in Jesus and His sacrificial death.
