• Lesson 11: Bitterness and Hatred

      Bitterness and hatred are seeds sown when a minister has departed from the presence of God. When your relationship with God begins to wane, this negative emotion takes over because its the direct opposite of love

      Cain lost an incredible spiritual inheritance when he left the presence of God and ended up killing his brother , Gen 4..

      These negative emotions are aliso the fruit of having a surace relationship with God, his life style wasn’t that of a converted christian. Gen 4:7

      You can lose your first live for God in ministry when the tides become rough , especially when more people come into church with more talents and gifts that you deel intimidated and threatened, jealousy sets in and of cause bitterness and hatred rake offer. At this stage you cant be focused.Ar this stage some monsters that preaching aggressive messages, targeting those considered as rivals.1 Sam 18:6-7. Murmurs and grumbling shouldn’t be your habit and you should take care of the sheep not scare them away. Num 11:26-29

      There’s Anger that’s is justified especially if its for a good cause like, correcting a wrong attitude in church but must not continue for long.Ep 4:26. Moses was angry when the israelites became idolatrous and created a golden calf to replace God Exo 32.

      There’s unjustified anger when the person claims victim and blames God for not doing what he promised him. Jonah 3:10

      We must always master the sin at our door. Gen 4:7. Don’t prolong conflict, overlook peoples offenses, watch over your tongue and be honest.. Ep 4:26, Prov 15:1, 27:5- 6
