CREATIVE BIBLE STUDY METHOD
Lesson # 3
Versions of the Bible
The three languages
According to this study, the Bible was written in three languages. Most of the Old Testament was written in Hebrew except for parts of the book pf Daniel and Nehemiah which were written in Aramaic. the New Testament was also written in Greek. Some of the manuscripts which are existence are copies of the original manuscript. No translation is exact because no two languages are exactly alike. However, the King James Version Bible is very accurate and is a good translation for those that wants to study to show themselves a probe unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. There are two main versions of the Bible; translations and paraphrases.
Translations is an effort to express exactly what the Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic say while the paraphrase translate thought by thought reinstating the meaning of the passage.

Great Knowledge!
-
Obviously both translations and paraphrase help in interpretation but paraphrased texts risk deviation from context.

I would agree with you on this.
