      Chapter 8: Analyzing the Audience.

Before you begin to teach it is important to analyze your audience, set objectives and plan lessons. We analyze them doing a careful study on the characteristics of the people you plan to teach. Learning is affected by many factors which includes education, language, culture, physical abilities.

If don’t analyze your audience, you may be teaching above or below thier educational level and their level of spiritual maturity. Jesus understood His audience, he knew his listeners customs and lifestyle, because he was one of them. God can still reveal something about people to you.

When Paul minister to the jews he emphasized his Jewish background. When he spoke to the Romans and other nationalities he change his approach

      • So true, knowing your audience also determines how you begin the lesson , the content of the introduction and what to teach them actually. Thanks

        • The level at which you understand your audience will determine your delivery of the lesson!!
