Lesson 26: Encouragement for the troubled Heart
This lesson begins with a very important information that Jesus was troubled because he was about to reveal to the disciples that he was going to be betrayed by Judas and to also inform Peter that the devil had targeted him for destruction and that he was going to betray him.John 13:21
This information is to inform us that we are the devils target and shouldn’t be anxious because Jesus will be interceding fir us just as he dud for peter and that satan will always need to take permission before touching a child of God because each of us has a hedge around us just like Job did.
Since satan is not omnipotent or omnipresent, he uses demons to attack our lives. But in the case of Peter he targeted him, himself.
We are tempted so we can comfort others after we have come out of that situation. Sometimes when counseling people, we just need yo be there because they dint need quick answers. Prov 25:11
Satan targeted peter because he was groomed to be a leader who was so self boasting ,fill of pride, He does same with all church leaders ,taking time to study them and then striking at their point of weakness.
When we are going through diverse problems, come back to God who restores your glory. So belief in Jesus for he’s able. John 24:2, Jer 32:27
As christians, always think before letting satan have a hold of us, think of the consequences over your church, families and even community just like Joseph who won’t let portiohar’s wife yo touch him.
Remember that all your problems as a child of God us working together for your goid. Ro 8:20
As a child of God always remember eternity John 14:2, it will help you to go through your pain easily and peacefully.
Jesus is coming again so wait for him attentively and with focus because he has gone to prepare a place for us
So belief in God, he will bring it to pass, Jer 29:11.
Remember you ate going to heaven and that Jesus is coming back

Your reflection highlights that believers are often targets of spiritual attack, but through faith in Jesus Christ and His intercession, we can overcome trials, grow in humility, encourage others, and remain focused on the hope of eternity.
