Chapter 6: THE PURPOSE OF POWER.
Undirected power can be dangerous. It is important to understand the scriptural purposes for spiritual power. The worldly purposes of power are political power, intellectual power, physical power, financial power, military power, the power of energy and religious power. Biblical purposes for power are salvation, witnessing, boldness, working the works of God, revealing God, revealing the kingdom of God, conforming the word, ministry to others, for spiritual warfare, preventing spiritual error, victory over sin, edification, creating willingness, enabling God to work, spiritual strength, preservation, eternal life and for all things.
