MODULE 1: THE MEANING OF HEAVEN AND EARTH

SESSION 1: OUR PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE

I had a very wonderful time in exploring of session 1 where the goal was to the bible’s first story in a way that honors our unique life experiences without simply importing those experiences into the bible narrative.

Considering that l was brought all the way back in my childhood where as a kid l used look at the clouds where it seemed like they touched the lands and the mountains but another thinking was coming out that if we run fast we would touch them. Then when we were travelling around l realized that we were not catching them up. Later on attending science classes we started learning about the earth where my thinking was it is like a round ball which rotates and all the time people and properties in it were rotating and exchanging positions. Later on when we started bible classes learning about Genesis 1 l further realized that what l learned in Science is bigger in comprehension than what l know. I realized that God is bigger than what it seems.

Furthermore in my advanced level studies l learned Geography where we were taught about theories of the pangea and continental drift and l began to laugh and realized that still God is big and science cannot even explain his creation.
