PRINCIPLES OF ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
Chapter Three
The Biblical Basis: Old Testament
I studied how the Old Testament provides a foundation for environmental analysis. From Exodus to Proverbs, I saw examples of God using environments to guide His people, like Moses analyzing Egypt or Joshua scouting Canaan. These stories show the importance of understanding our surroundings to fulfill God’s purposes. I learned that analyzing environments, as seen with Solomon or Nehemiah, helps identify spiritual and practical challenges. This chapter taught me to approach my context with discernment, ensuring my actions align with God’s will and avoid the mistakes of those who ignored their environment.
