Creative Bible study Methods
Lesson 1: chapter 20
Studying Bible Prophecy
Prophecy involves God’s message through revelation, often predicting future events, and serves to authenticate God’s message and instruct believers.
Types of Prophecy:
There are two types of Prophecy “Spoken Word” (most common, as seen in Jeremiah) and “Acted Prophecies” (symbolic actions like Jeremiah’s yoke).Which symbolised the bondage that the children of Israel were to go through.
Importance of Study:
Studying prophecy is crucial for understanding God’s plan, past, present, and future events, and brings a special blessing to those who heed it.
Bible Prophecy vs. False prophets
True bible prophecy is always fulfilled and authenticates God’s message, while false prophecies lack miraculous signs or fail to align with biblical truth.
It sometimes seems difficult to understand prophecies but God helps us to understand it through the Holy spirit. Some prophecies are for now done in our current Christian life or the one done formerly to predict things that will happen in the future
David Mutua and admin-
Nice one. God helps us understand prophecies by the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is very crucial especially in this end time error of many false prophecies.
