      Chapter 7: TASKS OF LEADERS
      God set leaders in the church to perfect believers for the work of the ministry. To perfect means to prepare or equip. the work of the ministry includes every position, duty and responsibility of ministry. The priority and the many tasks of a leader called and chosen by God is to be involved in equipping others to do Gods work, this brings good results:
      -The work of the ministry is done.
      -The body of Christ (the church) is edified.
      -People reach spiritual maturity.
      -Unity results.
      -People are conformed into the image of Christ.
      -People become stable doctrinally, grounded in the truth.
      -The body of Christ functions effectively.
      The responsibilities of the perfecting process are:
      -Setting the example.
      -Caring.
      -Leading.
      -Decision making.
      -Handling conflicts and disciplines.
      -Analyzing the environment.
      -Identifying purpose.
      -Planning.
      -Implementing plans.
