CHAPTER 8: BECOMING A WORLD CHRISTIAN.
In this lesson, I learned that a World Christian is a group of believers who have recognized their personal responsibility in spreading the gospel to the nations of the world. This is the strategy used by the early church. Each person took responsibility for spreading the gospel (each one teach one).Every home was a center of evangelism, therefore they reached their world with the gospel.
I learned that cross-cultural evangelism was done by laymen who were not full-time clergy like Philip and Stephen. This is a challenge to the church today to take a personal responsibility for spreading the gospel of Christ.
