Doctrine of Salvation – lesson 1
Predestination part 1
Mat 22:14 NKJV “For many are called, but few [are] chosen.”
This was a very interesting lession, there are many different viewpoints on the subject matter.
I still found it amazing, as it is written in Romans 8:30 that as the Lord had foreknowledge of all things he predestined some not all whom is called to be His chosen. It is easy to assume that we have no part in that choice.
I found that in this session it almost seems that a person has no part in salvation but it is clear that a person’s acceptance of the salvation that is offered, is the only part of salvation that a person has and that salvation is only by God grace and always for His glory.
I have always personally look at salvation from a viewpoint as a choice that a person makes but never really looked at salvation start at God.
I also appreciate the statement that was made in this lesson that:
“Human reasoning, I have found, gets us into more trouble than biblical statement” how true this is.
God Bless
David Mapugilo-
I like this particular quotation that “a person’s acceptance of the salvation that is offered, is the only part of salvation that a person has and that salvation is only by God grace and always for His glory”. May God bless you very much
