Words can have different nuances depending on context and author. With the this in mind studying a word’s semantic range helps understand its meaning as the author intended it to be. The Hebrew words “tzedek” and “tzedakah” underlie “dikaiosyne,” conveying relational and covenantal aspects. With the demonstration of a step-by-step process for studying biblical words, using Matthew’s Gospel and Logos software. It emphasized the importance of context, authorship, and bridging Greek and Hebrew concepts to enrich understanding of biblical vocabulary which helps in overcoming misinterpretation.
