Chapter 8: Redemption part 2

We ended the previous chapter on the note that Jesus was a ransom for our miserable lives. He was a passover sacrifice for us, yes he was and is without blemish ( 1 Peter 1:19). Just as the hsmd of God was heavy against the Egyptians on that passover night and led to the death of first born, there by removing judgement from the israelites, so is the sacrifice that Jesus made, having the same effect on us today. We are redeemed from judgement.

Also the blood of Jesus was an appeasement or propitiation for our sins(.1 John 2:2).Jesus died for the sins of the world but you kust decide for this sacrifice to come upon you. You have a choice to make. John 1:12.

Jesus died and reconciled man to God, the Love of God bridged the gap between man and God . Romans 5:11.Jesus became a sun offering bearing our sins. John 1:29. He’s the sweet savor offering Ephesians 5:2. His death took away the the stench that sin brought to our lives and it introduced a new perfume in our lives. He atoned for our sins,yes he covered our suns.

We now belong to him and should desire to stay there. We are redeemed, we are saved
