Personal Eschatology Session 2

Dr Farris in this session Lectures on Creation and Afterlife talking about how God created the world and how that relates to life after death. These were key of the lectures:

• 1. God’s Creation is Good: God created the world and called it good. He wants to give life and bless people.
• 2. Temple Imagery: The Garden of Eden is like a special place where God is present.
• 3. Humans’ Role: Humans are meant to take care of God’s creation.
• The lecture also talks about different ways to understand life after death, including:
• 1. Being Saved: God saves people from a broken world.
• 2. Restoring the World: God will make the world new and perfect again.
• 3. A New Home: God will create a special place for His people to live.
• 4. Jesus Makes it New: Jesus brings new life and fulfillment.
• 5. Making All Things New: God will make everything right and perfect.
• This should encourage us to think about how we live our lives today.
