Interceding for revival

This is best shown in the book of 2 chronicles:7:14

Revival is very necessary especially when there are signs of backsliding.It should not be done sorely for the purpose of making the church numbers grow and should not be emotional.It is sovereign, extraordinary work of God through and in behalf of a people who have learned and applied the principles revealed in the rhema word of God.We should prepare for revival especially when you realise that the church numbers are not increasing and there is no fire burning within the church group ings,there is no much worship through the truth and spirit. Much more when you see signs of backsliding in you or the church members.We should look for any evidences of backsliding in our church society.The hindrances of revival are leadership hindrances, congregational hindrances and general hindrances.We can eliminate them by humbling ourselves,praying, seeking the Lord’s face and turning from our wicked ways.
