ADAM TO NOAH
MODULE 4: SESSION 19: Humanity Fails the Test
Humans fail when they attempt to make themselves equal with God instead of trusting His wisdom and generosity. In the garden of Eden, this tragic choice was not simply about eating forbidden fruit but about grasping for independence and self-exaltation. Their desire to seize what God had already promised life, wisdom, and communion revealed a deep mistrust of His goodness. This act of folly shows how pride distorts human freedom: they reached for divinity by their own effort rather than receiving it as a gift. Ironically, they lost the very blessings they tried to claim. The story warns that true greatness and fulfillment come not from self-assertion, but from humble reliance on God, who freely offers all we need.
