WHO IS TO DO COUNSELING
Biblically every believer in general is to do counseling particularly those gifted in counseling. That is, spiritually gifted, especially those abiding in Christ and living by the Spirit, those living by the Word and by prayer, and those who keep confidences and those who are willing to sacrifice for others. God brings goodness to fill our lives and fill us with the knowledge of the Lord. And on that basis, we are able also to admonish one another. Every believer that abide in Christ will be more effective in their counseling ministry. While the spiritually gifted ones, will be fruitful in their counseling ministry if they abide in Christ.

Thank you, Sister Emilia! Counseling is a necessity in the church, and if we can all be equipped to do it, it’ll make great impact. We all counsel one way or another daily, and basic knowledge will make a whole lot of difference.
