Chapter 5: Bible Study tools

In this chapter I learnt much about different tools of studying the bible and how each differ from the otheir, these are study tools:

Concordance is used for searching the meaning of the word or a particular bible text and different uses of the word in the bible.

Bible Dictionary explains meaning of bible words as was used in the time of writing.

Bible commentary is the interpretation/opinion of the author of the texts of bible.

Topical bible explains number of bible topics supporting statements with relevant scriptures.

Encyclopedia deals with Bible subjects and list words in alphabetical order,it goes beyond dictionary in explaining words and subjects.

Bible Atlas/geography aims at explaining the Bible lands.

Word Study books they give Greek and Hebrew meaning of the word and references of the bible to the word.

Bible Handbook its a one volume that summarises selected information about the bible,maps of the Bible and book summary.
