Lesson 17: The position of Justification
Justification is the same as being righteous.
-By this, God gives a man a right standing by mercifully accounting to him innocent and virtuous after he has confessed his sins. Romans 5:1.
we are justified by faith and we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
This doctrine actually helps us to understand that whether we are catholic or protestant, we are justified through faith in Christ Jesus nit by the church you attend.
Preach the gospel and souls will be converted. The protestants insist that justification is by faith, that the word of God has authority over the church and its leadership and that every believer is a priest even though other churches like the catholic church treat their leaders as Gods and that is adultery. Even some Pentecostal churches do that nowadays thereby destroying the authenticity of the gospel.
Romans 8:29-30 says; ” For those whom he for knew ,he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called and those whom he called, he also justified and those whom he justified, he also glorified.
When you repent and confess your sins God forgives you and then justifies you and no one can condemn you again.
Romans 8:1: There’s therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. You might be born again but the world still judges you from your history, yet God justified you. You are a new creation in Christ and should remain so.
Righteousness is nit acquired by man through exertions or merits but is a complete and perfect work in Christ alone

That’s right! Church/Denomination has no power to justify or condemn. It is the work of God’s grace through faith in Jesus alone.
