NOAH TO ABRAHAM
MODULE 4: SESSION 16: The Flood Overwhelms the Land
In most of the cases people may end up feeling that God has forgotten them indicating that experiencing God is a walk which requires patience in learning of his ways and hearing for his directions. This feeling is mostly seen in Psalms where you see people somehow complaining or pleading that God has forgotten them.
Further in Genesis 8: 1 it is written “and God remembered Noah”. This does not mean that God had forgotten Noah rather it indicates that when the right season came God did what he promised for Noah and other remnants.
The remnant suffering through chaos in a divinely provided refuge is an image that the biblical authors will use repeatedly to illustrate God’s plan of rescue. The biblical authors confront feelings of anger, abandonment, and grief. Texts like the Psalms serve as a guide for dealing with negative emotions before God.

That’s right! God never forsakes His own. Even when we feel abandoned and forgotten, God is ever near and seeks our very best.
