MODULE 6: SESSION 24: Reflecting on the Sin of Ham

The Bible has a multilayered depiction of election. The failure of the Canaanites later in the story is not caused by Noah’s curse on Canaan. The third or fourth generation in biblical terms means “a few” or “however many.” God’s judgment of three or four generations of those who hate him is contrasted with his showing love to thousands of generations. God’s ultimate purpose is to walk with people in eternal covenant loyalty.
