Chapter 5:The pattern of God’s will

God has a good plan for all mankind.He communicates to us about His will through His written word or through a man of God or even directly to individuals as He did to Paul and Balaam.Gid gives us wisdom and spiritual understanding of His will which only comes after we are filled with knowledge.God’s will is planned,it is predestined,he has a master plan for the whole world and every individual.It is also individual and personal.It includes His personal sovereign plan of redemption.Its also not man’s way its always contrary to the ways of men.His will is good ,its always the best though it would not be the path you would select.Its progressive.There are two wills of God ,that which he revealed in His written word and that which He had not revealed in His word.There are three wills of God also the sovereign will of God,the moral will of God and the individual will of God.All the three work together.There is also the perfect will of God,the good Will of God,the acceptable will of God and the outside will of God. The story of Balaam in Numbers 22 is a good example of the will of God and yhe will of man where yhe will of God superceded his will.
