History of the Bible Session 1 - 2
The sessions has taught me that biblical inspiration is simply a process in which our God worked through various human authors and not a channeled event. I have learnt in depth about inspiration and what it really means for the writers to be inspired by God.
I have also learnt that these writers actually used different elements to write the bible, things like: their culture, experiences, personalities, and many other tools but still communicated the truth under God’s guidance. This has actually strengthened me in having great confidence in the Bible because the module has explained both the divine and human side of scriptures.
Another interesting understanding from this lesson was discovering how the Hebrew Bible was actually preserved over the years and transmitted through things like the oral tradition, editing, and script changes over the years. Despite that these changes sometimes came with their own copying mistakes, God ensured that his message was preserved.
This has helped me actually understand that the Bible is reliable and that there is authority in Scripture. I am further equipped to respond questions about how the Bible came into being and was preserved throughout the entire history.

Great post! different authors, different works of life, and different levels of education, but there is no disparity.
