CHAPTER EIGHT
OUTLINING, MARKING AND CHARTING
This chapter basically talks about the skills that can be used to improve Bible studying. There are three major skills:
1. Marking -is a method that involves marking key Bible passages with a marker. It makes it easy for one to locate verses in specific pages.
2. Outlining- is a method of organizing study notes. It puts information in summary form to use for future study. An outline centres on a specific them
3. Charting – is a method that summarises in brief what one has learnt using charts. There are two types of chats;horizontal chart and vertical chart

I remember going through that chapter. The practicality of the methods and how much they help to outline the word of God as one studies it, is amazing. As @Njilah John mentioned in another post, these methods are I my useful when out to use. I couldn’t agree more.
