MODULE 4: SESSION 26: Presence

In Exodus 34:6-7, God gives a key description of his character he is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished. God’s justice is a function of his compassion. These things are not in conflict with one another; rather, God is loving enough to oppose those who spread violence and oppression in his world.
