I thank God for the studies. I have come to learn that the book of Exodus has been reframed in a manner that it gives three narratives. We have the narrative of creation, the identity of the children of Israel and lastly God’s presence among them. What touched me most was about the plagues. I have learned that the plagues have been interpreted as a reversal of creation. A gain i found out that not honouring God’s name or taking God’s name in vain is defined as failing to bear God’s character. Remember the children of israel as God’s representatives were mandated to bear His character among the nations.
