REVIEWS FROM LESSONS 10 -12

In Redemption Part Two, I have learned that God has done the reconciliation for us. He did not wait for us to be hear and start figuring out how we could appease His wrath, Christ gave Himself as a ransom to become a propitiation for our sins. We have beem redeemed by the blood of Christ and reconciled with God.

In the Special Consequesnces of Redemption, I learned that God demonstrated His love for us when he sent Jesus Christ His Son into the world. For the first time ever, on the cros at calvary, Jesus experienced separation from God. The same way Adam was separated from God when he sined and died spiritually is the way Jesus felt separated as He bore our sins. Sin was the cause for our separation from God and Christ died so that our enmity may be solved by His death. We are very fortunate to have a God who would sent His Son into the world to come and pay the price we could’nt afford to pay. We have ben ransomed and we are now experiencing the consequences of redemption as children born of God.

Now in The Priority of regeneration, we learn how our spiritual birth is as real as our physical birth. The depravity of sin led us to a loving Saviour who humbled Himslef and laid down His life for our salvation. We have a new nature given by God. This very nature has God’s DNA and through it we have overcome sin and the world. As we yield to the desires of the new man we no longer fulfill the desires of the flesh as our old man was crucified with Christ. We must not resurrect a dead and buried old man. Ours is to live according to the word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit. As we do this we live in the victory Christ gave us to overcome sin and the lust of the flesh. I am glad I am born of God and have a new nature. Sin has no power to rule over us because Jesus Christ has given us the victory. As we grow spiritually, our desires and emotions are not controlled by the flesh but by the newness of the life we have received. Praise be to God Almighty.
