This lesson has helped me understand the importance of Yahweh Texts and how Paul used Old Testament passages containing the divine name Yahweh. I learned that the Greek word Kyrios (Lord) was used to represent Yahweh in the New Testament and that Paul’s use of it must be understood through careful contextual analysis. I also learned the difference between quotations, allusions, and echoes, and how Scripture connects different passages through shared themes. The study of Romans 4 and Psalm 32 showed me that Paul emphasized God’s righteousness, forgiveness, and faith. Overall, I learned that Paul’s writings reveal both God’s identity and His work through Christ.
